As timing is critical when it comes to delivering vaccines, carriers and airlines are using AI to overcome logistical difficulties of COVID-19 vaccine distribution. The author gathers great examples of how AI has helped to optimize vaccine transportation during the Covid-19 pandemic. For example, it was used to increase fuel efficiency by tracking drivers' behaviours, predict land or air traffic using historical data to estimate how long it will arrive in specific locations. Besides, it allowed the temperature of the vaccine to be monitored throughout the delivery journey, using Bluetooth intelligent mesh technology.
